The GST Council meeting is scheduled to be held on 11th July, 2023. The Council is likely to discuss measures to curb fake registration and fraudulent generation of input tax credit (ITC) as it looks to check tax evasion, a top official said on Friday.

Further, the Council is also likely to discuss GoM report on online gaming, casinos and horse racing and will circulate it to the states soon, This would be the 50th GST Council meeting.
