The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged that Bengaluru-based real money gaming platform Gameskraft Technologies used bots and manipulated gaming structures to cause financial losses worth over Rs 1,154 crore to users, according to a press release issued on Wednesday.

The agency said it conducted search and seizure operations between May 7 and May 13 at the company’s offices and residences linked to its directors and key employees in Bengaluru and the NCR region. During the searches, the ED said it froze and seized movable assets worth around Rs 526.49 crore, including bank balances, mutual funds, bonds, and fixed deposits. It also seized jewellery worth Rs 3.5 crore and cash amounting to Rs 11 lakh.

The development comes days after the ED arrested Gameskraft co-founders Deepak Singh, Prithvi Raj Singh, and Vikas Taneja under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The probe stems from multiple FIRs filed across states alleging cheating and unlawful gains through the company’s online gaming platforms.

According to the ED, Gameskraft operated real money gaming applications under brands such as RummyCulture, RummyPrime, Playship, RummyTime, and RummyCorner. The agency alleged that the company continued offering services in states where online real money gaming is restricted or banned by tampering with users’ geo-locations.

The agency further claimed that users were initially allowed to win and withdraw small amounts to build trust, after which they were allegedly made to play against automated BOT accounts. “The genuine users were lost to BOT user IDs,” the ED said, alleging that the platform deployed bots strategically once users started playing with higher stakes.

The ED also alleged that the proceeds generated through these activities were routed into foreign entities, dividend payments, mutual funds, bonds, and movable and immovable properties. Further investigation is underway.
