Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) issued notification no. 134/2026 dated 08.10.2026 to hereby make following rules to amend the income tax rules, namely –
These rules may be called the Income tax (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2026
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette

CBDT issued notification no. 13/2026 dated 21.01.2026 to provide exemption u/s 10(46) of the Income tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) to ‘Tamil Nadu e-Governance
Agency’, an agency formed by the State Government of Tamil Nadu, in respect of the following specified income arising to that Authority, namely:-
CBDT issued Notification no. 64/2024 on 18.07.2024 to extend the exemption u/s 10(23FE) of Income-tax Act, 1961 till 31.03.2025.
