CGST Kutch Commissionerate is glad to announce that it has collected Rs. 273.51 Crores for the month of May-2023 against revenue of Rs. 171.47 Crores for May, 2022, resulting in growth of Rs.102.04 Crores, and a highest ever growth rate of 59.51% in the just begun F.Y. 2023-24. Similarly, the revenue collection for the last two months i.e. April 2023 and May 2023 is Rs. 558.21 Crores against revenue collection of Rs. 374.57 Crores and a growth rate of 49.03%.

When the All India GST revenue growth is 12%, CGST Kutch revenue growth stands at 49%. The above growth of 49% so far in the current financial year has been achieved, over and above 37% growth achieved in the last two financial years.

The CGST Kutch Commissionerate is also very happy to announce that more than 95% of top taxpaying units, who contribute more that 90% of the revenue of the Commissionerate, have filled returns with three or four days of the due date of filing returns i.e. 20.05.2023. In fact, 80% of them have filed returns on the due date of filing returns i.e. 20.05.2023. CGST Kutch Team welcomes this very positive response from the trade and industry based at Kutch, responding to the request made in the course of the last outreach program held on 16.05.2023.

CGST Kutch Commisionerate expressed the confidence that the very goods beginning made by attaining growth rate of 49% in April and May 2023 of the current F.Y. would be sustained for the rest of the current. F.Y. The Commissionerate has also conveyed that one more outreach programme is going to be held at Bhuj in the next week, for transmitting the knowledge to the trade and industry, exclusively involved in construction and civil works sector, about the trade facilitation measures along with steps taken to enhance ease of doing business, introduced by CBIC.
