The special investigation team (SIT) formed to investigate the Aadhaar-GST scam in Bhavnagar has arrested 13 more people. The latest operation was led by Bhavnagar range inspector general of police Gautam Parmar, the head of SIT.

The group was allegedly fudging Aadhaar data of unsuspecting people in Palitana and Bhavnagar and using the compromised Aadhaar entries to get GST registration numbers issued, which were then used for bogus billing.
