An agreement between the Government of Republic of India and Government of Samoa for exchange of information with respect to taxes, was signed at Apia, Samoa on 12th day of March, 2020, as set out in the Annexure to this notification. The said Agreement came into force on the 12th day of September, 2023 and remains effective until terminated by either party with a notice period.

CBDT issued notification no. 158/2025 dated 07.11.2025 providing exemption u/s 10(46) of the Income tax Act, 1961 to ‘Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’, Panchkula, a Board constituted by the State Government of Haryana, in respect of the following specified income arising to that Board, namely:-
Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) issued notification no. 156/2025 dated 04.11.2025 to provide exemption u/s 10(46A)(b) of the Income tax Act, 1961, to ‘Karnataka Housing Board’ (PAN: AAAJK0398K) (hereinafter referred to as “the assessee”), a board constituted under the Karnataka Housing Board Act, 1962 (Act No. 10 of 1963).
CBDT issued notification no. 131/2024 dated 30.12.2024 whereby the Central Government approves ‘Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Charitable Trust’, Bengaluru for its college unit, ‘Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Ayurveda Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre’ under the category of ‘University, college or other institution’ for ‘Scientific Research’ for the purposes of section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 read with rules 5C and 5E of the Income-tax Rules, 1962.
