Court acquits two in GST evasion case

The Economic Offences Court in Jaipur has acquitted two men who had been arrested in a multicrore GST evasion case, ruling that the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Commissionerate, Jaipur, failed to provide credible evidence against them. The court not only exonerated the accused but also recommended action against the investigating officer, then Superintendent of the Anti-Evasion Branch, Hanuman Ram Mundel.
