The GHCL Limited has received a scrutiny notice on October 24, 2024, from Superintendent CGST & CX, Range IV, Ballygunge Division, Kolkata South Commissionerate for the financial year 2020-21, according to the stock filing.

In the said notice, The GST department has alleged that the global chemical and textile company has made the excess claim of Input Tax Credit of ₹ 1.08 Crores and advised to file the reply within 15 days from the receipt of the letter.
The company has said in the stock filing, “No impact on the Company’s financials except the amount of ITC discrepancy, if any.”
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations 2015.
