Life Insurance Corporation of India has filed an appeal before the Commissioner (Appeals), Karnataka State against the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Karnataka, according to the exchange filing.

The appeal has been filed against the order demanding GST of Rs. 1,83,32,790/-, interest of Rs. 1,79,19,690/-, and penalty of Rs. 18,33,280/- for FY 2019-20.
The demand order relates to a short declaration of outward liability & ITC claimed on blocked credit u/s 17(5).
The order was received on 28.08.2024.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligation & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
