CBDT issued notification no. 19/2024 on 31.01.2024 amending sub-rule (3) of rule 12 of the Income Tax Rules, 1962. These rules may be called the Income-tax (Amendment) Rules, 2024. They shall come into force from the 1st day of April, 2024. Vide referred notification ITR-2, ITR-3 and ITR-5 is substituted.
