Notification no. 20/2025 dated 18.03.2025- Income tax

Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) issued notification no. 20/2025 dated 18.03.2025 whereby the Central Government specifies ‘Additional Chief Secretary (IT), Department of Information & Technology, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi’ for the purposes of the sub-clause (ii) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 138 of the Income tax Act, 1961 in connection with sharing of information regarding Income-tax payers for identifying eligible beneficiaries under the social welfare schemes of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
