Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) issued notification no. 54/2025 dated 03.06.2025 to specify ‘Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra, Women and Child Development’ for the purposes of the sub-clause (ii) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 138 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 in connection with sharing of information regarding Income-tax payers’ for identifying eligible beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
