55th GST Council meeting: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to meet with state finance ministers on December 21 and 22 for pre-budget discussions and the 55th GST Council meeting. The two-day summit will be held in Rajasthan, most likely in Jaisalmer or Jodhpur, according to the official. The gathering will discuss numerous critical topics before to the 2025-26 Budget release on February 1, 2025.
