Tax Invoice for ICAI Membership Fee to members employed in Corporate Entities

The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has approved the issuance of tax invoice for membership fee to Chartered Accountants employed in corporate entities with GSTN of the respective employer, when the fee has been paid by the said corporate entity, based on the declaration given by the member. The decision shall be implemented from 1st April, 2026, the next invoicing cycle.

Members in industry who have not yet updated or revised their employment particulars are requested to do so through the “Update Employment/ Engagement Form” available under Member Functions on the Self Service Portal (SSP). After updating the employment details, members are further advised to update the GSTIN of their current employer through the “Update Your Profile” option available under Member Functions on the SSP.

Membership are requested to complete the above steps on or before 25th February, 2026, to facilitate the smooth issuance of tax invoices.
