The 7th GST Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on 01.07.2024, in CGST Nagpur Zone, Nagpur at GST Bhawan, Nagpur.
On the occasion, KC Johny, Chief Commissioner, CGST Nagpur Zone said, “Efforts would continue to be made by departmental officers to ensure that Governments’ objective of ease of doing business is achieved in Nagpur Zone.”
The programme was attended by Atul Rastogi, Principal Commissioner, Vijay Risi, Principal Commissioner, Avinash Thete, Commissioner, Pradeep Vora Commissioner, Nilkhant Shelke, ADG DGGI Nagpur, and Sanjay Kumar, Commissioner apart from the members of the trade. The theme of GST Day 2024 was ‘Empowered Trade Overall Growth’ Shiva P Reddy, Deputy Director (Cost), gave a presentation of ‘7 years of GST’.
Also, the top tax payers of CGST Nagpur Zone were felicitated. Commendation Certificates were given to meritorious officers namely Sanjay Thool, Assistant Commissioner, Nagpur-II, B K Sinha, Superintendent, CCO, Satchindanand S Soman, Superintendent, Nagpur-II, Kailash Ninave, Superintendent, Nagpur Audit, Vijay Mahajan, Superintendent, CGST Nashik, Hari Prakash Sharma, Superintendent, Nashi Audit, Santosh Kumar Yadav, Superintendent, CGST Aurangabad, Manjusha Mesharm, Superintendent Nagpur-I, Jerry Thomas, Superintendent, CCO, Mandeep Budhania, Inspector Nagpur Appeals, Siddharth Janbandhu, Executive Assistant, CCO, and Mohan Neware, Head Havaldar, Nagpur-I, Chief Commissioner also inaugurated the new web site of CGST, Nagpur Zone.
