56th meeting of the GST Council will be held on 3rd and 4th September 2025 as conveyed by the Secretary to the Govt. of India and ex-officio Secretary to the GST Council Mr. Arvind Shrivastava vide OFFICE MEMORANDUM dated 22.08.2025.

The schedule of the meeting is as follows:
- Wednesday, 3rd September, 2025 from 11 AM onwards
- Thursday, 4th September, 2025 from 11 AM onwards
In addition, an Officers’ meting will be held on 2nd September, 2025 at New Delhi as per the following schedule:
- Tuesday, 2n September, 2025 from 11 AM onwards
The details of the venue of the meeting and agenda items for this 56th meeting of the GST Council and Officers’ meeting will be communicated in due course of time.
