Ministry of Finance issued OFFICE ORDER No. TMS-06/2025 dated 10.07.2025 to appoint Shri Rameshkumar Gokalbhai Hadvani, retired as Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Ahmedabad, State Tax Department, Government of Gujarat to the post of Technical Member (State) in Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) for the bench located in the state of Gujarat at Surat. Their remuneration is Rs. 2,25,000 (fixed) p.m., for a period of four years w.e.f., the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till attaining the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier. This is in terms of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (Appointment and Conditions of Service of President and Members) Rules, 2023 published on 25.10.2023 and the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017) as amended from time to time.
The aforesaid officer is required to join / take charge of the post of Technical Member (State) at the Principal Bench, GSTAT, New Delhi on or after the 01.08.2025, within four weeks thereon. He is also required to submit his medical fitness from an authority specified in this behalf by the State in which the said state bench is located.
