GST UPDATEZ – Very Important information about Rate rationalization of Goods

For the last 8 years, we were referring to Notification No. 1/2017- CTR dt 28.6.2017 to know the GST rates of goods and referring to Notification No 2/2017- CTR dt 28.6.2017 to know which goods are exempted.

But after 56th GST Council’s recommendations, we need to refer to Notification 9/2025- CTR dt 17.9 2025 to know the GST rates for various goods and Notification No 10/2025- CTR dt 17.9.2025 to know which goods are exempted from GST.

These Notifications dated 17.9.2025 have superseded the initial Notifications with proper saving clause.
