Gujarat has to recover a sum of Rs 7,183.61 crore from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council for the past two years, state government informed the state assembly on Monday.

In a response to a question, the government stated that Gujarat has to recover a sum of Rs. 3,376.76 crore for the year 2020-21 and a sum of Rs. 3,806.85 for the year 2021-22 from the GST Council. Congress MLA CJ Chavda had sought details.
