Implementation Guide on Revision in Form No. 3CD and 3CEB in March, 2024

The Guidance Note on Tax Audit under section 44AB of the Income-tax Act, 1961 was revised last year, i.e., in 2023. This year, the CBDT has, vide Notification No.27/2024 dated 5.3.2024 (given as Appendix I) read along with Corrigenda by way of Notification No.34/2024 dated 19.3.2024 (given as Appendix II), made changes in the existing clauses of Form No.3CD as well as in Form No.3CEB. Revision has been made in following clauses of Form No. 3CD –

1. clause 8A,
2. clause 12,
3. clause 18(ca),
4. clause 19,
5. clause 21(a),
6. clause 22
7. clause 32(a)
8. Part C of the Annexure to Form No.3CEB.
