High Court of Delhi: New Delhi (Mediation and Conciliation Centre) issued Public Notice No.16/Misc. 16/Mediation/DHC dated 07.07.2025
It is hereby circulated for information of all concerned that The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), in collaboration with the Mediation & Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC), Supreme Court of India, has launched a nation-wide 90 days’ Special Mediation Drive, “Mediation ‘For the Nation,” from July 01, 2025 to September 30, 2025 with a motive to settle pending cases in all the Taluka Courts, District Courts and High Courts of India.
This initiative aims to resolve pending cases having elements of settlement including mater pending under each of the following categories, which may be referred to Mediation :
- Matrimonial Disputes Cases
- Accident Claims Cases
- Domestic Violence Cases
- Cheque Bounce Cases
- Commercial Dispute Cases
- Service Matters Cases
- Criminal Compoundable Cases
- Consumer Disputes Cases
- Debt Recovery Cases
- Partition Cases
- Eviction Cases
- Land Acquisition Cases
- Other Suitable Civil Cases
Pending cases of abovementioned categories are also being listed before Registrar and Joint Registrars of this Court under the Heading, For referral to the Special Mediation Drive Mediation For the Nation’, for referring suitable cases for Mediation. Parties/counsels are requested to attend their matters to consider giving their consent for referral to Mediation
The General public/Litigants/Advocates are hereby informed and encouraged to actively participate in this initiative which offers a faster and effective method of dispute resolution contributing to the larger goal of justice for all.
