Subject: Approval of rate of interest on EPF accumulations for the financial year 2024-25 – regarding.

Madam,

I am directed to refer to EPFO’s UO Note No. INV-11/2/2021-INV dated 27.03.2025 on the subject mentioned above and to hereby convey the approval of the Central Government under Para 60(1) of the Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952 for crediting of interest @ 8.25% on EPF accumulations for the financial year 2024-25 to the account of each member of the Scheme.

2. A copy of Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, OM No. 12(5)-B(PD)2025 dated 06.05.2025 is enclosed for ready reference.

3. This issues with the approval of the Hon’ble Minister of Labour and Employment.
