GSTN (www.gst.gov.in) has enabled the functionality for regular taxpayers to opt for the Composition Scheme for Financial Year 2023-2024 by navigating to ‘Services -> Registration -> Application to Opt for composition Levy’ and filing Form CMP-02 on the GST Portal.

GSTN is pleased to inform the launch of the new GSTN e-Services app, which replaces the old e-Invoice QR Code Verifier App.
GSTN is taking downtime to enhance its services on the GST Portal on 31.01.2026 from 12:30 AM onwards until 7:00 am of 31.01.2026.
For reducing the tax disputes and to provide a big relief to the taxpayers, GST Council in its 53rd meeting held on 22nd June, 2024 had recommended for waiver of interest and penalties in the demand notices or orders issued under Section 73 of the CGST Act, 2017 (i.e. the cases not involving fraud, suppression or wilful misstatement, etc.) for the Financial years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
