Trade Association – CWBTA seeks higher I-T, GST limits
The Confederation of of West Bengal Trade Association has pleaded for an increase in the income tax limit in this year’s Budget. It has also asked for exemption limit in GST up to Rs. 2 crore and composition limit up to Rs. 4 crore. MSME’s have suffered huge losses due to the hasty action by government to concluded traders in Section 43B(h) of the Finance Act.
So it is imperative to remove this anomaly immediately,” the letter by CWBTA president Sushil Poddar stated. CWBTA also urged Centre to do more to protect unorganised traders.
