About the Speaker

Mr. Vivek Laddha is a young author, litigator, consultant and speaker on GST. He is a Founder and National Head of his own kind of venture, LAW BROTHERS which provides consultancy and litigation services to Corporates and 100+ CA/Law Firms for their clients.

Qualifications
Mr. Laddha being a Bachelor of Law, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary possess all 4 pillars of the profession of business solutions.

Engagements with Government

• He has worked on the research project with the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs on the iGOT project.
• He has been engaged by National Academy of Customs Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Large Taxpayer Unit of Maharashtra Government, Rajasthan Government, and Surat Audit Commissionerate as a faculty to train the officers of CGST and SGST.

Professional Engagements

• He has provided 550+ legal opinions on complex matters under the GST regime to business houses and dealt with 1300+ cases of litigation.

Academic Achievements

• He has delivered 750+ sessions on GST for large size companies including Reliance Industries Limited, various Real Estate Associations, trade associations and forums of ICAI and ICMAI.
• He has authored 7 books on GST from renowned publisher ‘Taxmann’.

Social Engagements

• He has also been appointed as Chief Advisor at NAREDCO (National Real Estate Development Council, Neral-Karjat).
• Mr. Laddha has served as a Chairman of the GST Advisory Board of NIRC of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
• He is co-opted member of Indirect Tax Committee of WIRC of ICAI and has also served as a co-opted member of the Indirect Tax Committee of CIRC of ICAI.
• He is the founder member of the Students’ Forum of Bombay Chartered Accountants Society (BCAS) and Past President of Rajasthan Vidyarthi Griha (RVG) Students’ Committee, Mumbai.
