Interest on refund to be paid if amount isn’t refunded within 60 days from date of application

✔️ Can Assessee get any benefit if refund was paid to assessee beyond sixty days?  

👉 The Hon’ble High Court Judgement :- 

✔️ Where assessee filed application seeking refund of unutilized input tax credit and amount of refund was paid to assessee beyond sixty days, respondent-Authorities were to be directed to calculate period of delay and make payment of amount of interest to assessee in terms of provisions of Section 56 of CGST Act ,2017.
